Get Involved!
Are you a young professional looking to make a difference in a child’s life? Friends of Sinai Children offers many opportunities to get involved. Here are just a few ways you can make a difference:
Join the Board: Attend monthly board meetings and help make decisions about events, financial allocations and the general direction of the Board.
Join a Committee: Choose to work on one or several ongoing committees.
- Friendraiser Party Committee (typically held at a Chicago bar/wine bar)
- Charit-A-Bowl Fundraiser Committee
- Large Event Committee (this year at Arlington Race Track)
- PR/Marketing Committee
- Sponsorship/Silent Auction Committee
General Volunteer Opportunities
Event Volunteers: Help out at an event or with our annual raffle.
- Monthly Kids Club: One Saturday each month, Sinai opens its door to the children in our neighborhood for a seasonal activity.
- Weekly or Bi-Monthly Volunteer Activity with Hospital Patients: Pediatric volunteers work on the Pediatric floor with in-patients. Activities include reading stories, playing games, cuddling babies in our nursery and visiting with patients. Requires standard hospital screening including a TB test and a background check.
