What's KidCare?

Through KidCare, the State of Illinois offers no-cost or low-cost health insurance to working families who meet certain income guidelines. Sinai is helping eligible families sign up for coverage.

Who Qualifies for KidCare?

If your family meets the income requirements, children under 19 can be covered, and so can pregnant women and moms who had a baby in the past 60 days.

What If We Have Insurance?

If you pay to have your children covered under private health insurance, you may qualify for a tax-free rebate from the state.

Do I Pay for KidCare?

KidCare health insurance is provided by the State of Illinois at no cost or low cost, depending upon your family's size and income. If you pay premiums to have your children covered under a health-insurance plan at your job, the state may give you a rebate.
