A team approach.

Recognizing the major health problems in our community today, Sinai Children’s Hospital has established the Center for Health and Specialty Care. The Center brings together community education and medical care activities in eight multi-disciplinary pediatric programs – Adolescent Wellness, Asthma, Child Protective Services, Deaf Access, High Risk Infants, HIV/AIDS, Juvenile Diabetes and Weight Management.

A team approach gives children and their families the opportunity to have a full-range of care in both inpatient and outpatient setting. Some of the Center programs may begin while your child is in the hospital, some will continue after the hospital visit and others may begin without and hospitalization. The Center’s health promotion programs will involve community settings, your home or your child’s school.

Our team includes many caregivers---doctors, social workers, health educators, dieticians, nurse practitioners and many more. We are here to offer you and your child the best of all services. And, because every child counts, even more programs are in development.
